Pakistan observes Yaum-e-Ali today

Karachi: (Friday, August 10, 2012) Muslims in Pakistan are observing three-day martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (R.A) across the country with religious reverence.

Mourning congregations are being held in mosques and Imambargahs.

Major mourning processions in this regard were brought out to mark the martyrdom in cities like Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi and Peshawar.

In Karachi, where the country’s largest mourning procession is brought out, the congregation came out at the Nishtar Park.

The huge procession marched through MA Jinnah Road to reach Hussainia Iranian Kharadar, Allama Shahenshah Hussain Naqvi spoke at the main Majlis-e-Aza at Nishtar Park.
