Aamir Khan insists Salman Khan is much more popular than him

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who is also known as Mr. Perfectionist, has revealed that he is a fan of Salman Khan and loves to watch his movies. Aamir himself has a huge fan following in India and across the border as well but he believes his popularity is nothing in front of Salman Khan’s popularity.

Aamir recently had an interview with the daily, in which he was asked who he thinks is the biggest Khan of the Bollywood industry and Aamir replied by saying Salman Khan. The 46-year-old however refused to compare himself with Shah Rukh Khan, who is more commonly known as the King of Bollywood.

Aamir told the daily, “I am not able to judge myself. I find it very difficult to do that. I think, at this point of time, Salman’s popularity is on a big high. I personally believe he is much more popular than I am.”

“I am a fan of Salman Khan’s. I love watching his movies. I must tell you a secret. I do not know how to whistle. But whenever Salman organises a trial of his film for me; which he always does; I carry a plastic whistle with me and I bring the house down with my ceetis. I don’t know about Shah Rukh. I can’t compare us,” he was quoted by the daily.

Salman Khan will be seen along with his ex-flame Katrina Kaif in Kabir Khan’s upcoming film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, which is slated to hit the cinemas on August 15. The film has created an enormous hype among the audiences since Salman and Katrina are playing lovers for the first time in it.

Aamir also thinks the film will be a super-hit. The actor reckons it has the potential to break records at the box office.

“I have seen the promos and I really liked it a lot. I even messaged Kabir (director), Adi (Producer Aditya Chopra) and Salman that I liked the promo. I think it will be a superhit film,” Aamir said.

Well, let’s see if Salman Khan’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ really lives up to the expectations.
