Nisar denies having talks with govt. over caretaker set-up

Islamabad: (Wednesday, August 15, 2012) Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said here today that no talks had been held with the government over the caretaker set-up.

Nisar, who was talking to the journalists, said that negotiations on a care-taker government will only be held with the incumbent set-up when the assembly will be dissolved and the situation will become further clearer.

Talking about discussing the caretaker setup with the opposition parties, he said they will go for it after Eid.

Responding to a query about the possibility of military operation in North Waziristan, Nisar said that this was really a matter of concern and the people would not support any such decision. Nisar further said that the Army Chief,
General Kayani should also abide by the resolutions of parliament and of All Parties Conference.

The leader of opposition further said that facts regarding money given by the president to journalists, anchors and media houses would be made public soon. He alleged the incumbent setup for distributing billions to gain support
for the upcoming elections.
