Floyd Mayweather senior: Manny Pacquiao is running away from Floyd Mayweather junior!

Floyd Mayweather senior, who is father of the undefeated American legend Floyd Mayweather junior, has claimed that the mega-bout between his son and Manny Pacquiao is not happening because the Filipino boxing icon is too scared to fight.

For the past three years boxing fans all over the world want to see a fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather since they are considered as the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world. However, both fighters have not been able to agree to a fight due to their differences on drug testing and revenue split issues.

Mayweather senior, who is one of the most controversial figures in the sport, has insisted that team Pacquiao never wanted to fight his son because they all know they can’t win him.

“Why can’t he fight Floyd now? I’m just saying, why can’t he fight Floyd… it’s cause don’t want to fight Floyd! I’m just telling you,” Floyd Sr. told On the Ropes Boxing Radio.

“Pacquiao don’t want to fight Floyd! believe me when I tell you Pacquiao is scared to death! Freddie Roach knows what time it is too. They know he’s not going to whoop Floyd on the up and up. There is no way in the world he can whoop little Floyd. On the up and up he don’t have a chance in hell,” Floyd Sr. said.

During the interview the 59-year-old loud-mouth also revealed that Pacquiao wanted to see his son in jail in Las Vegas.

“I guess he was training over there and he told me that he wanted to do see little Floyd in jail.”

Pacquiao and Mayweather are archrivals but the God fearing Filipino champion earlier stated that he has been praying to help Mayweather get through his ordeal in jail.

“I’m treating him as my friend, my brother. I’m praying for him, that all things will be fine for him,” he said.

Well, all said and done, let’s see how Manny Pacquiao and his camp will respond to the allegations from Mayweather senior.
