The uncrowned queen of the Bollywood industry Katrina Kaif is certainly having a high time in the industry right now. Her much-anticipated film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ with her ex-flame Salman Khan has been recently hit the cinemas and now she is working with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan in Yash Chopra’s untitled project and ‘Dhoom 3’ respectively.

However, if this is not enough then as per the reports, the 28-year-old British-born beauty will is also in talks with the two-time National Award winner filmmaker, Ketan Mehta, for his upcoming project ’Noor’.

One of the sources mentioned, “Katrina will be playing princess Noor Inayat Khan in Ketan Mehta’s bio-pic on Tipu Sultan’s great-great-granddaughter.”

The movie is said to be based on the story of a spy who was killed by the Nazis in ‘World War II’. The storyline will be based on a princess who was born to Hazrat Inayat Khan, the great grandson of Tipu Sultan.

The princess found herself a man but decided to give up on love for her cause. She was caught later on and was killed by the Nazis. Till now many books have been written on this brave woman.

When Mehta was asked about the rumors revolving around, he said, “All I can say at this stage is that a top actress is playing Noor Inayat.”

The renowned filmmaker remained tight-lipped but hinted the role will be played by one of the leading B’town actresses.

Mehta told IANS: “It’s too early to comment. I am in the initial stages of negotiation. I will make a formal announcement soon.”

Mehta, who has directed many famous documentaries and television series, insisted that he is keeping his options open for the time being.

“’Mountain Man’ is a great biopic. I am yet to cast someone for the lead role. I am keeping all my options open (to cast a newcomer or an established actor). I am planning to finalise things in the next 10 days,” he said.

Well, Katrina Kaif is certainly having the best phase of her career at this point in time but let’s see if she really signs the contract with Ketan Mehta.
