In the third part of the five-part article about child prodigies, I will put a light on the personalities of Fabiano Luigi Caruana, Michael Kearney and Cleopatra Stratham.

Fabiano Luigi Caruana

Caruana is a Grand Master Chess who achieved this honor only at the age of 15.  He is the youngest Grandmaster in the history of both Italy and the United States. In the April 2009 FIDE listed him an Elo rating of 2649, making him the world’s highest ranked player under the age of 18.

Caruana is the youngest chess Grandmaster and chess prodigy with dual citizenship of Italy and the United States.

Michael Kearney

Kearney first gained fame as the world’s youngest college graduate at the age of 10, earning him a place in the Guiness Book of World Records.  He was born in 1984 and was known for setting several world records and teaching college at the age of 17.

Finishing his high school at age 6, he enrolled at Santa Rosa Junior College and earned a graduate degree in Associate of Science in Geology when he was only 10-year-old. For a while, he also held the record for the world’s youngest postgraduate.

In 2006, Kearney became worldwide famous after qualifying the finals of the Mark Burnett/AOL quiz/puzzle game Gold Rush, and became the first $1 million winner in the online reality game.

As a contestant though, Kearney proved somewhat more successful in 2008 when he earned $25,000 on the television game show ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’?

Cleopatra Stratham

Stratham, the youngest singer ever to score commercial success with her biggest hit album La vârsta de trei ani in 2006 (At the age of 3) with more than 150,000 copies sold in Romania, is the maiden child prodigy in the field of music.

In what appeared to be shock to everyone, when she performed for two hours live in front of the large gathering.

Stratham  once again emerged with her second album called La Varsta De 5 Ani in 2008 and with the hit song “Zunea-Zunea” she is the highest paid young artist (1000€ per song) and also the youngest artist who received MTV award.

She is also the youngest artist to score a #1 hit in a country (“Ghita” in Romanian Singles Chart).
