Why verdict is missing in popular talk shows

Its not been long since the romance between television viewers and the political talk shows started in Pakistan. Being a society which was also restricted from a free access to information, knowing inside stories of the hitherto inaccessible political world
was no less than an introduction to a wonderland for the common people. However, this romance did not last for long. It disappeared as quickly as it was developed. Lately, being blamed for spreading confusion in the society, these political talk shows have
left some positive impacts on the society as well. Here in this piece of writing, we will cast a look upon these positive points and will also analyze as to why this romance between people and the overrated talk shows has ended rather quickly.

People in Pakistan have always remained oblivious of what has been going on in the political circles of the country. However, with the media getting free and empowered, they have got the chance to peep into the huge differences in the words and practices
of the politicians. Initially, as the political talks shows began on the TV channels, they were more focused and always asked quality questions from their guests, but with people’s increasing interests into such programmes, the media houses got rating hungry
and in the desperation to retain the viewers interest, they started making blunders which only started keeping people away of such programmes.

Recently, as the political difference led Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz  to hurl baseless allegations on Imran Khan, while debriefing the viewers on the issue and acquaint them with the real information, none of the television anchor chose to rely on a guest
with financial and legal acumen who could clear the matter in an instant and would tell as to who was true and who was just trying to earn some political mileage. Rather, what they did was to invite all the political big guns with zero financial knowledge
to dwell onto the issue and spread more confusion.

Getting acquainted with these tactics, the common man who has developed his sense of judgment, is getting bored with these tactics and is now waiting for some television talk show which has ‘verdict’ as its hallmark.
