Katrina Kaif: Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra are senior to me

Kareena Kapoor is considered as the ultimate diva of Bollywood industry and Priyanka Chopra is also one of the leading B’town ladies. However, Katrina Kaif now has left everyone behind. She has become the most bankable actress of the tinsel town. Her recent film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, in which she played a role opposite to her ex-flame Salman Khan, has broken many records at the box office.

Nevertheless, despite of becoming the central attraction of all the leading filmmakers, Katrina is very humble as the big thoughts have spoiled her thoughts at all.

In a recent interview with Bollywood Mantra, the 31-year-old British-born beauty was asked about Kareena Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, on which she said they are her seniors and they are way ahead of her.

Katrina said, “Kareena and Priyanka are senior to me. They are way ahead of me.”

Katrina stated she doesn’t have options like Kareena and she goes with the kind of roles she gets.

“Kareena’s first film came quite a few years before I stepped in the industry. So she is at a different position in the industry and a different place in life today. So it is working for her for the place she is in.

”I just go with the kind of movies that I am offered. If something excites me I’ll do it and vice-versa. If I get criticism because some people may feel I am not trying enough things or different things it’s okay. I’ll rather take criticism in my stride.”

‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is Katrina’s first film which has earned over 100 crore at the box office. The actress is happy about the film’s success but she believes audiences should appreciate an actor’s work as well.

Katrina said, “I am happy to see the business of cinema flourishing, films minting money. Yes, hits are important but somewhere your work has to be liked also.”

Katrina Kaif will now be seen with the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan in Yash Chopra’s untitled film, which is slated to hit the cinemas on Diwali (November 13).
