PM not answerable to the court: says Attorney General

Islamabad: Attorney General of Pakistan, Irfan Qadir said here today that the Prime Minister is not answerable to the court, he further said that a legal position will be taken before the court.

Qadir, who was talking to the media personnel outside the Supreme Court Building just before the Prime Minister’s appearance before the court here today, further added that all institutions would remain and work within their designated
boundaries.

Adding that the prime minister is not answerable to the court, the attorney general said that the constitution is for all and the decisions would be taken with impartiality.
