Wasan sees government holding elections on April 4

Islamabad: Former Home Minister Sindh, Manzoor Wasan said here today that the government is striving to reach to a middle ground on the NRO implementation issue. He was of the view that a solution would be reached after the next
hearing of the case on September 18.

Wasan further said that the assemblies would be dissolved on February 18 and that the general elections will take place on April 4, 2013.

In today’s hearing of the case, the Supreme Court has given the Prime Minister 22 days for the implementation of its judgment on NRO case. The court has directed the PM to write the letter to Swiss Authorities by September 22.
