Afghan refugees told to leave KP

Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Home Ministry has directed the illegal Afghan refugees to leave the province immediately, while the refugees with valid registration cards have been given time till December 31.

In a statement issued by the provincial home ministry here today, the government vowed to take strict actions against the Afghan refugees and citizens of other countries residing illegally in the province if they do not leave immediately.

The statement further stated that no refugee, including those with registration, would not be allowed to live in Pakistan beyond December 31.
