Shah Rukh Khan and Shirish can never be best friends: Farah Khan

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan locked many headlines in the country after he slapped Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder at a party which was thrown by actor Sunjay Dutt and his wife Manyata Dutt in Mumbai.

The editor-turned-director Shirish, who is married to SRK’s close friend and choreographer-director-and-now-actor Farah Khan, took a pot-shot at Khan’s mega dud movie ‘Ra.One’ earlier this year on his Twitter page saying ‘I just heard a 150 Cr firework fizzle’ and apparently it was the main reason behind the infamous brawl between the two.

Shirish recently apologised publically to the people for provoking Khan and it looked as if the issues between the two have been solved. However, Farah Khan believes Khan and her husband can never become best friends.

While speaking on her inclusion, Farah insisted Shirish and Khan are together because of her. She said they both love her and that’s why they are together.

Nevertheless, despite of all the things, Farah is confident that Khan and Kunder’s new-found equation will continue as it is.

She told TOI, “I know Shah Rukh and Shirish will never be best of friends but they know that it is me they both love. I will now never force them to become best friends but only want them to be comfortable with each other. Today they have an understanding.”

Khan’s wife Gauri had many problems with Farah initially but Farah has claimed that now she shares a good equation with her.

She added, “I am close to Gauri now. She really initiated and played a big role in restoring our relationship. She knows I genuinely love Shah Rukh. Its like when you are newly married, you always try to get your mother and your wife to be best of friends but with time you come to terms with reality.”

Farah Khan’s second Bollywood film ever ‘Joker’ has been released into the cinema halls today. In the movie, which has been directed by Shirish, Farah will be making a guest appearance.
