Former Miss India Esha Gupta, who made a pretty successful debut with Mahesh Bhatt’s ‘Jannat 2’, says that Bollywood is cruel and the life in the industry is not as easy as it looks like.

The new girl from Bhatt factory told the media that stars also live a very though life because they always remain under scanner wherever they go. The actress further added that the film schedules are quite tough as well.

“Most of the people have the perception that we just do a movie and earn big bucks. Not only that, there are extremely long and gruelling work schedules and we are always under the scanner — be it promotions, what we wear or who we hang out with. People judge you everywhere. Also, we have to take extra care of our health and looks,” she said.

However, despite of everything, the 26-year-old admitted that the very addictive fame keeps her going and she loves it.

“Though Bollywood is cruel, I’m loving being a part of it. I get recognised when I walk down the road and that gives me a high,” said the actor.

Esha Gupta will now be seen on the big screen in ‘Raaz 3’, which is slated to hit the cinema halls tomorrow. The 3D horror movie, which is a sequel to Raaz – The Mystery Continues (2009), which itself was a sequel to Raaz (2002), will feature her in a lead role opposite to the likes of Emraan Hashmi and Bipasha Basu.

While promoting her film at the HT house on Tuesday, the actress was all praises for her co-star Emraan Hashmi.

Esha, who kissed Emraan for 20 minutes during the film, insisted things would have become much difficult for her without him.

“Raaz 3 was not easy for me. It became easy because of Emraan. He helped me in getting the emotions right,” she said.

‘Raaz 3’ has created an enormous hype among the audiences but only time will tell how much money the film will generate at the box office.
