A lot is being said about Amir Khan’s relationship with his International Hall of Fame trainer Freddie Roach. Apparently Khan has decided to part ways and he is looking for a new trainer these days. However, Roach says Khan has not confirmed him anything as of yet.

Roach told Doghouseboxing.com, “I’m not sure yet. I have heard rumors that I will be or won’t be.”

The Bolton’s finest, who is more commonly known as King Khan, lost his title against Danny Garcia on July 14. The Brit suffered a brutal fourth-round TKO at the hands of American and Roach believes that everything which happened on the night was because of Khan’s aggressiveness.

“You know he got too aggressive in that fight and wanted to exchange too much with a good puncher. I thought all he had to do was use the left hand in that fight and box his opponent and he could have made the fight easier I think. But he did get caught and those things do happen. I hope to be working with him in the future, but I have not heard definitely yet.”

Although Garcia has denied, Roach stated he would love to see a rematch between Khan and Garcia. While speaking on his inclusion with Jenna Jay, the 52-yaer-old insisted Khan is a great athlete and a rematch with the American will pull draw a huge crowd.

He added, “He could of made that fight a whole lot eaiser on himself, staying in the pocket too long was a big mistake with a big puncher and he just needs to settle down a little more, use his boxing abilty and his foot speed also. He is a great athlete, and I’d love to get a rematch, make that fight one more time, but we will see what happens.”

Well, Garcia is in no mood to fight Khan again because he wants to look for bigger fights. Nevertheless, let’s see if he changes his mind and agrees for the rematch, which many out there desperately wants to see.
