Kareena Kapoor: Karisma liked my ‘Heroine’ performance

The ultimate diva of Bollywood industry Kareena Kapoor is awaiting the release of her upcoming film ‘Heroine’, which she thinks will be liked by the people.

Kareena told the media that her elder sister Karisma watched the movie last Sunday night and she was very positive. Kareena reckons Karisma is her biggest critic and perhaps this is a reason why she is happy and confident about her film.

“Karisma saw the film on Sunday night and after seeing her positive reaction, I felt I have done my job. She is my biggest critic. She was crying for ten minutes after watching the film. For me, that was the most special moment of my life,” said Kareena, at a press conference on Tuesday to promote ‘Heroine’.

‘Heroine’, which is scheduled to hit the cinemas on September 21, will feature the likes of Arjun Rampal, Randeep Hooda, Shahana Goswami and Divya Dutta along with Kareena Kapoor.

All actors, including the director of ‘Heroine’ Madhur Bhandarkar, were present at the occasion.

Bhandarkar also shared his thoughts with the media. While speaking on her inclusion, the director was all praises for Kareena.

Bhandarkar said: “She has never played a character like this and I am sure people will like her work. Her character is very complex and edgy. And moreover, ‘Heroine’ is an intense but a very entertaining film.”

During the media interaction, Bebo was asked about her wedding plans as well. As per the reports, she will tie the knot with actor Saif Ali Khan on October 16.

“I have been hearing all kinds of news from people and everyone is asking about it but whenever me and Saif will plan to do it, our fans will get to know about it 100 percent,” she said.

Well, all said and done, ‘Heroine’ is one the most anticipated films of this season but let’s see how much revenue it generates at the box office.

In the film Kareena will play the role of a once successful actress, Mahi Arora, whose career is on the decline.
