Sherlyn Chopra lashes out at the media

Bollywood buzz Sherlyn Chopra not too long ago created history by becoming the first Indian woman ever to appear ‘nude’ on the cover page of a popular men’s magazine ‘Playboy’. However, her dare-bare act sparked an outcry among the nation and brought a lot of criticism towards her.

The 21-year-old made many confessions on her Twitter page to add more fuel to the fire. First, she admitted to paid sex and later on declared that she doesn’t do it for money.

Almost everyone out there knows that Chopra did all this to hog media limelight and perhaps this is a reason why they associated her with the tags like ‘wanna be’, ‘the queen of sleaze’, ‘down market’, ‘cheap’, ‘desperado’ and ‘shameless’.

Chopra never had any problems with any of the tags as she knew she deserve them. Nevertheless, now it looks as if she has finally given up.

The starlet lashed out at the media and said doesn’t accept anyone’s negative opinion. The ‘Playboy’ model also accused the media of ‘yellow journalism’.

The starlet sarcastically tweeted, “Huge thanks to the media n others for titles such as ‘wanna be’,’the queen of sleaze’,’down market’, ‘cheap’,’desperado’,’shameless’ etc… I refuse to accept your negative opinions/thoughts/suggestions…..more power n joy n peace to you all…(sic)”

Chopra further insisted that the media was being judgemental and did not report all her tweets.

She said, “Out of my 16 or 17 tweets which I had recently posted,which sum up my confessions,d media seems 2 find just 1or 2 of dem highly entertaining. The other 15 or 16 tweets do not matter much to the media…why…?….perhaps,they are not “spicy” enough…(sic)

In the end Sherlyn Chopra gave love to her fans in her own way.

Well, all said and done, it is the media who has brought Sherlyn under the main lights as she wanted so she shouldn’t be biting the hands that feeds her.
