Lutfi confident ahead of AFC President’s Cup clash

The KRL boss claims that his side can come out on top against the reigning champions despite not possessing a lot of experience at this level.

“KRL are in good spirits and since we have reached the final stage it is but natural that we are determined to win,” said Lutfi.

“We are not a very old club (founded in 1995) and we have a lot of respect for our opponents. We have youth and senior national players, a young squad with an average age of 21-22 years. We hope to put up a good fight and turn in a good performance.”

“We did play TPC in the group stage in Lahore and that team did not disturb us in that goalless draw,” Lutfi was quoted as saying by the Pakistani media.
