Salman Khan could’ve made me a leading lady, if he wanted: Mehak Chahal

Model turned actress Mahek Chahal became a household name in the country during her stint in the ‘Bigg Boss 5’ house because of her success but her rivals attributed her success and fame to her good relations with superstar Salman Khan.

However, when asked Chahal, she completely denied and said if Salman Khan had really supported her she would have been a leading lady in the industry by doing many more films with him.

“All I can say that had Salman Khan been supported me, I would have been a leading lady in the industry and would have done so many films with him, instead of doing just two films (Wanted and Main Aur Mrs. Khanna). Knowing someone is not a crime. The people who created this mess are the ones who are suffering now and they have to answer to God for indulging in foul mouthing,” defended Mahek.

The 33-year-old beauty, who made her B’town debut in 2003 with ‘Nayee Padosan’, was also asked whether if would like to participate in the reality show again.

She said, “Oh, it was a physically and mentally tiring experience. In fact the show had taken a toll on everyone as it was very difficult to stay in a house for three months without linking with the world outside.”

After getting done with the ‘Bigg Boss’ show, Chahal hosted Super Fight League show and did a special song with Bengali superstar Prosenjit in the film ‘Bikram Singha, which is a Bengali version of ‘Singham’.

While sharing thoughts with the media, the actress interestingly revealed that she has a crush on the actor and she would love to work with him again.

“I really wish I could get a chance to do a full-fledged role with him. He was really sweet, helpful and down to earth despite being a superstar of Bengali cinema. I bet if you are working with such a good-looking and handsome man, the attraction is natural and instant,” laughs Mahek.

Well, all said and done, let’s see if the ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ star has to say something to Mahek Chahal.
