Kazuki Watanabe and Ikuya Matsumura dominate swimming events – NCSA/Itoman Allstar Meet

Kazuki Watanabe and Ikuya Matsumura captured gold medals of Boys 200m breaststroke and Girls 200m butterfly at the 2012 NCSA/Itoman Allstar Meet.

His commendable pace remained 5.03 seconds ahead of his closest challenger as he rushed his way towards the wall for gold medal by clocking a time of 2 minutes and 13.62 seconds.

The gold medallist was trailed by Yuta Tsukamoto, who was nearly 8 metres away from his former finisher and surfaced on wall with a timing of 2 minutes and 18.65 seconds.

Tsukamoto was followed by Kosuke Ishii, who remained 0.50 seconds away from upsetting his preceding swimmer and stepped on the victory stand for silver medal by producing a time of 2 minutes and 19.15 seconds.

Ishii was traced by Shi Wong, who stayed almost nine seconds away from overpowering his foregoing finisher and settled on the wall for fourth finest spot with a timing of 2 minutes and 28.31 seconds.

Fifth spot of the race was secured by Matthew D Whittle, who remained two body lengths behind and completed his race by reporting an effort of 2 minutes and 0.31 seconds.

On the other hand, Matsumura dominated the playoff of Girls 200m butterfly. Her impeccable efforts remained prominently ahead of her opponents as she tapped the wall for gold medal with a timing of 2 minutes and 13.90 seconds.

The champion was traced by Aya Takano, who stayed 0.41 seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and surfaced on the wall with an effort of 2 minutes and 14.31 seconds.

Takano enjoyed a benefit of three body lengths over her subsequent rival, Kana Daigo, who proved her mettle for third position by clocking a time of 2 minutes and 17.12 seconds.

The third position holder was followed by Dorothy Halmy, who remained 4.03 seconds behind and surfaced on the finishing blockade as fourth fastest swimmer by submitting an effort of 2 minutes and 21.15 seconds.

In addition, the position holders received medals and accolades for their notable efforts in their exclusive events at the victory ceremony of the tournament.
