Indian actor Arjun Rampal, who was recently seen along with Kareena Kapoor in ‘Heroine’, has praised Sridevi as an inspiration to each generation in Bollywood.
The 49-year-old, who is regarded as one of the greatest and most popular actresses of Hindi Cinema, is making a comeback after a gap of 15 years and like many others out there, Rampal is also anxious to see her on the big screen.
Sridevi will be seen on the silver screens on October 5, in Gauri Shinde’s upcoming film ‘English Vinglish’ and Rampal feels people will flock into the cinema halls to watch her.
While speaking on his inclusion, the 39-year-old, who was a model before, insisted Sridevi is a master of her craft and she has always been loved by the fans and the industry.
He told the Hindustan Times: “She is a master of her craft. Be it male or female, she has inspired generations of actors. What she has achieved as an actor is beyond what anyone else has attained.
The actor reckons ‘English Vinglish’ will do wonders at the box office because it is riding on Sridevi’s shoulders.
“I am sure that her English Vinglish is going to be watched by the entire country. The media, the fans and the industry have always loved her.
“Before dad – along with Sridevi – left for Toronto International Film Festival, I watched the first and second theatrical trailers, and they look really good. I haven’t had the chance to watch the songs yet.
“It looks like a great, fun family film. I am sure it’s going to do well. Since the entire nation is waiting for her comeback, I hope the film does well.”
Well, all said and done, there is not much time left in the release of the movie. So let’s see if Sridevi can really entertain the audiences.
