Djokovic was quoted in a post match press conference:

“I am planning to come back to the China Open next year. It’s been one of my most successful tournaments. This is where I love to play. I love the conditions and, as I mentioned before, I have lots of support from the fans who are very loyal and very nice.”

The Serbian top ranked star is now 14-0 lifetime at this ATP World Tour 500 Series event held in Beijing, People’s Republic of China. He also pocketed $530,570 in prize money and took an unassailable 1490 points lead over Roger Federer (8,920) in the South

Elsewhere in Japan, the Asian number one Nishikori stunned sixth seeded Milos Raonic in a three-set thriller to capture the Rakuten Japan Open Tennis Championships in Tokyo.

The Japanese star stated in a courtside interview after stealing the show:

“I have not been able to play well in Japan until now… But the match against Berdych, something changed. I was able to play much better yesterday and today as well. On one side of my mind, I cannot believe I won the tournament, but at the same time, I
feel that I’m happy I was able to do this.”

Nishikori required two hours and nine minutes to conquer his second ATP World Tour trophy and claimed $308,130 in prize money.
