The Palestinians backed out at the very last moment after the venue for the series came under scrutiny.

Pakistan Sports Board’s decision to take their time in giving the Punjab Stadium to the PFF cost the country a chance to welcome some much needed football action, with Palestine bowing out as the dates grew closer.

“Yes, Palestine have shown their inability to send their team to Pakistan because they could not gather their players,” said Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) secretary Col Ahmad Yar Lodhi.

However, there are chances of Pakistan touring Singapore next month, with coach Zavisa Milosavljevic reportedly in talks with his fellow Serbian manager.
