Zavisa eager to win Sri Lankan tournament

The Serbian wants to win the competition and claims that with the current U-23 team he has the right personnel to do it.

Pakistan departed on Saturday bound for Sri Lanka and according to coach Zavisa Milosavljevic, the squad have enough talent to come out on top in the event.

“I think we have a good side and our main target will be to reach the final. All the players are fit and motivated and I hope it would be a good opportunity for the young footballers to show their worth,” said the tactician.

Commenting on the decision to hand the armband to KRL’s Internationally struggling striker Kaleemullah, he said that the striker was the best man for the job considering his form in the Pakistan Premier League.

We have retained him as skipper as he is the right person for the job and as a player he is also in top form,” said Zavisa while speaking to the media.
