Zavisa eyes improvement despite Bangladesh win

The Serbian claims that although the Green Shirts won against their South Asian rivals, the players need to show some clinical finishing, so that they can secure a win in the Sri Lankan tournament.

“From the result point of view, it was a good match as we won it but I am not satisfied with the way the players displayed their skills in spite of the fact that they were very much disciplined and in good shape,” he said.

“We will have to work extremely hard to improve the players technically and tactically as it is very important part of the game and without it the success is very difficult. It was a grassy pitch but I think it was not of international standard,” the tactician was quoted as saying.

Pakistan now face Maldives today and will hope to enact a similar result, which will boost their chances of getting to the final.
