Indonesian shuttler found a good start in the title match but lost her focus in the second game. However, she came back strongly in the decider and won the match with a close margin in rubber games.

The aggressive Fanetri remained comfortable in the arena after the mid-game interval as she played with the same approach.

Fanetri did not reduce the pace of the game at any stage and comfortably grabbed the first set with a stunning 21-15 margin on the board.

However, the Indian lady showed her brilliance in the following game by playing positive badminton and stayed in lead until the break.

After the interval, Fanetri played attacking badminton but failed to stop the progress of Sindhu and lost the set with a reasonable margin of 18-21.

In the deciding set, Fanetri became quick in taking the bird from all areas and remained in commanding position until the one-minute break.

After the interval, Sindhu failed to show strong performance as she could not shake the confidence of Fanetri who played better game and secured the set with a decent 21-18 margin on the board.
