Kento Momota surged into Men’s Singles semi-final of Estonian International 2013

Japan’s upcoming player Kento Momota showed his impressive craft on court and overpowered France’s Matthieu Lo Ying Ping in quarter-final battle at the Yonex Estonian International 2013 on Saturday, January 12, in Estonia.

The higher ranked Kento, who is the third seed in the main draw of the championship, played with terrific precision and managed to overpower his French challenger in just 34 minutes.

Japanese man was in his best form as he played aggressive game and remained successful in finishing up this Men’s Singles clash in straight games with a one-sided score on the board.

On the contrary, the fifth seeded Matthieu Lo also played good badminton in starting points but failed to maintain his smooth run in the arena. He lost the match in straight sets without putting up strong show.

Kento showed an amazing aggression on court from the opening points of first set by building a huge pressure on his opponent.

The in-form Japanese shuttler was quite smooth in taking the bird early and he did not encounter any trouble in hitting his shots in targeted areas.

The third seeded Kento did not show any sign of confusion as he was in complete control of rallies until the one-minute interval.

The aggressive Kento remained confident on court after the one-minute break as he played with the same approach.

Kento remained consistent in executing powerful shots in targeted areas and grabbed the opening game with a stunning total of 21-14.

In the second game, Kento played with stunning speed without sparing any opportunity for Matthieu Lo to find a good rhythm.

Kento displayed his unmatched craft in the arena by picking the bird early from all areas and kept his domination over his challenger.

Matthieu Lo could not show resistance in the second game of this contest as his rival Kento played flawless badminton and took the set with a stunning total of 21-14.

Japanese player remained successful in winning this Men’s Singles quarter-final clash in style as he easily ended it up in straight games with a dominating 21-14 and 21-14 margin on the score board.
