Bayern must be cautious: Muller

The Germany international has insisted that it is not a problem for his side to wait to seal the victory in the games they play, as mostly they have had to put the match to bed in the latter stages of the matches.

Bayern Munich young starlet Thomas Muller warned his team members that they will need to be patient as it is almost impossible to decide all games before half-time interval. As a result of this, he claimed that the Bavarian giants don’t mind sealing the win late in the match.

Der FCB have been in great run of form this season, but failed to shine in the league clash against VfB Stuttgart on Sunday. However, they were still able to get a 2-0 win after Muller and Mario Mandzukic scored a goal each in the second half. He stated that Bayern should be able to deal if they fail to get a comfortable lead at the start of the game.

“We have to get used to not always going up 3-0 before the interval. A game of football lasts longer than that and you have to be patient,” the star player was quoted as saying on the club’s official website.

“VfB courageously defended high up the field in the first half and got at us early,” the 2010 Bravo Award winner mused.

“We had a lot more of the ball and we spent more time in their half, but we lacked the last few percent and any big chances,” the 2012 UEFA Champions League runner-up with Bayern Munich added.

“But then we punished a mistake, and went on to add the second,” the 2010 FIFA World Cup Golden Boot winner finally concluded.

Muller praised Stuttgart’s defense and said Bayern dominated possession but could not score as their opponents played well.
