Viktor Axelsen outplays Murat Sen in Men’s Singles fight at European Mixed Team Championships 2013

Denmark’s emerging shuttler Viktor Axelsen showed a wonderful performance and easily trounced Turkey’s Murat Sen in Men’s Singles encounter at European Mixed Team Championships 2013 on Thursday, February 14, in Russia.

The lanky Danish player has been playing top class badminton in the recent tournaments and he remained impressive all the way against Murat. He easily finished off this fight in one-sided fashion without facing any considerable resistance.

Viktor was in remarkable form as he did not face any problem in taking the bird early from all areas of the court. He remained aggressive and registered a comprehensive victory over his Turkish challenger with a superb margin of 21-9 and 21-17.

On the other hand, Murat was helpless against the top class skills of his Danish rival. He could not play positive badminton and remained struggling. He eventually bowed down to Victor in a lopsided manner in just 23 minutes.

In the starting set, the impressive Viktor showed a staggering show on court as he executed shots with impressive variations from starting rallies.

Murat faced a harsh treatment from the starting points and he failed to get accommodated with the conditions of the court.

The hard-to-learn variations in Viktor’s shots assisted him to maintain his superiority against his opponent in the arena.

It was Viktor who did not show any mercy to his spirited rival in the starting half and established a tremendous lead in the arena.

After the mid-game break, Viktor stayed focused on court and remained successful in keeping a comfortable lead.

Viktor was quite calm and composed in the arena as he did not show any sign of confusion and ended up the first game with a sound difference of 21-9.

Things were similar in the second set of this entertaining fight as Viktor played in the similar attacking fashion and remained on the driving seat.

Viktor was in incredible control of the game and he faced no trouble in establishing a sound difference until the one-minute break.

In the second half of second game, the impressive Viktor continued his comfortable run and easily clinched the second set by a reasonable difference of 21-17.
