Arthur Agnot and Marina Garcia Urzainqui pocket gold medals – Mediterranean Meet

Arthur Agnot and Marina Garcia Urzainqui pocketed gold medals of the Men’s 1500m freestyle and Women’s 100m breaststroke respectively at the 2013 Mediterranean Meet.

Agnot remained in a notable lead over his following swimmers and surfaced on the finishing end for gold medal by touching the wall with the timing of 16 minutes and 18.23 seconds.

The gold medallist was trailed by Jordi Bosch Planas, who remained nearly five seconds behind and made his way to the finishing end for silver medal by clocking a time of 16 minutes and 23.23 seconds.

Bosch was followed by Erwan Mahoudo, who remained 10.19 seconds away from upsetting his foregoing finisher and stepped on the finishing end for bronze medal with the timing of 16 minutes and 33.52 seconds.

Fourth finest spot of the event was followed by Cyril Ramsamy, who was two and a half body length behind and clocked a time of 16 minutes and 26.03 seconds.

Ramsay was chased by Antoine Duval, who remained more than half a minute behind and emerged on the wall for fifth position by posting a time of 17 minutes and 10.94 seconds.

On the other hand, Urzainqui occupied the title of the breaststroke discipline. He remained more than one and a half a body length ahead of her closest competitor and surfaced on the finishing end for gold medal by producing an effort of 1 minute and 09.33 seconds.

The champion was trailed by Elisa Celli, who stayed 1.45 seconds behind and touched the wall for silver medal by producing a time of 1 minute and 10.78 seconds.

Celli was followed by Jessica Vall Montero, who stayed 0.06 seconds slower from her foregoing finisher and tapped the wall for bronze medal by posting a time of 1 minute and 10.84 seconds.

Fourth best spot of the race was secured by Coralie Dobral, who remained 0.66 seconds apart and transpired on the finishing end with an effort of 1 minute and 11.50 seconds.

Dobral was traced by Erica Varini, who stayed nearly four seconds apart and occupied fifth fastest spot of the event by reporting an effort of 1 minute and 15.29 seconds.

In addition, the position holders received medals and accolades for their notable efforts after the race.
