To a question‚ Advisor on Petroleum and Natural Resources Dr. Asim Hussain said the duration of closure of CNG stations in Punjab is longer than other provinces due to more population and usage of the commodity.

He said due to meager gas demand there is no gas load management in Balochistan.

He said the Sindh and Peshawar High Courts have directed the federal government to adhere to the provisions of Article 158 of the Constitution therefore gas load management is mainly restricted to Punjab province and to some extent to Sindh province as per demand and supply position of gas.
