Hannah Miley and Joseph Roebuck pocket gold medals – British International

Hannah Miley and Joseph Roebuck secured pocketed gold medals of the Women’s 400m IM and Men’s 200m butterfly respectively at the 2013 British International.

Miley remained in a prominent lead over her following swimmer and surfaced on the wall for the title with an effort of 4 minutes and 35.57 seconds.

The champion was followed by Aimee Willmott who was 3.37 seconds behind and earned silver medal of the race with a timing of 4 minutes and 38.94 seconds.

The silver medallist was chased by Keri-Anne Payne, who stayed prominently away from her and stepped on the finishing end for bronze medal with the timing of 4 minutes and 42.85 seconds.

Fourth best spot of the race was gained by Danielle Lowe, who remained almost six seconds behind and posted an effort of 4 minutes and 48.43 seconds.

Lowe was trailed by Rachel Williams, who stayed full body length slower from her former finisher and tapped the wall with an effort of 4 minutes and 49.35 seconds for fifth position.

On the other hand, Roebuck occupied the title of distant butterfly discipline. He remained nearly two body lengths ahead of his following swimmer and cruised his way towards the finishing end for gold medal with an effort of 1 minute and 57.54 seconds.

The first position holder was traced by Mallett Adam, who stayed 1.76 seconds slower from his foregoing finisher and hit the wall with the timing of 1 minute and 59.30 seconds.

The second finest swimmer was chased by James Guy, who remained 0.23 seconds behind and clocked a time of 1 minute and 59.53 seconds for bronze medal.

The bronze medallist was trailed by Roberto Pavoni, who stayed 0.33 seconds apart and transpired on the finishing end for fourth position by producing a time of 1 minute and 59.86 seconds.

Fifth spot of the swim was secured by Matthew Johnson, who was 0.44 seconds slower and settled on the finishing end by clocking an effort of 2 minutes and 00.30 seconds.

In addition, the position holders collected medals and accolades at the victory ceremony of the event.
