Nick Fransman outwits Maciej Poulakowski in Men’s Singles qualifying round of Polish Open 2013

Netherlands’ Nick Fransman found a perfect start as he played with wonderful confidence and remained successful in defeating the local player Maciej Poulakowski in Men’s Singles qualifying round of Polish Open 2013 on Thursday, March 21, in Poland.

The Dutch shuttler was in great touch as he played with smashing speed in all areas of the court and remained successful in outplaying his challenger in just 26 minutes in a remarkable fashion.

The impressive Fransman started his run in a positive and aggressive manner and he did not face any trouble in finishing up this qualifying round clash in straight sets with a completely controlled margin of 21-13 and 21-13.

Polish shuttler, on the other hand, could not put up strong show as he failed to play positive badminton and also lacked the finishing touch in his shots. He failed to stop the aggression of his opponent and eventually lost the match in a lopsided manner.

Fransman played with terrific control in his shots and managed to occupy the pace of rallies from opening rallies of the first set. The tempo of the rallies was very fast in opening set and the Dutch shuttler controlled the affairs in the arena.

It was Fransman who did not show any respect to his passionate local opponent in the first part and took a spectacular lead until the one-minute break of first set.

After the mid-game break, the in-form Fransman remained comfortable in the arena and played with equal speed that enabled him to stay in lead all the way.

Fransman continued executing powerful strokes in targeted areas without making unforced errors and he easily took the opening game with a stunning total of 21-13.

Things were not much different in the following set of this entertaining qualifying round fight as Fransman played in the similar dominating fashion and maintained his supremacy on court.

Fransman was impressively fast on court and he did not face any problem in building a staggering difference until the one-minute break.

Poulakowski could not show resistance in the second game of this match as his Dutch opponent played aggressive badminton and secured the game with a smashing 21-13 margin on the board.
