Barozai takes oath as interim Balochistan CM

Nawab Ghaus Bakhsh Barozai on Saturday was sworn in as caretaker chief minister of Balochistan.
Governor Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi administered oath to Barozai at a ceremony at the Governor house in Quetta.
Later talking to newsmen‚ the caretaker Chief Minister said that free fair and transparent elections would be ensured.
He said the provincial cabinet will not above more than 10 ministers. He said that steps will be taken for maintaining law and order in Balochistan.
Barozai said that the interim cabinet will be formed on merit and announced soon.
He said he would strive to ensure transparent and timely elections in the province.

Former CM Balochistan Aslam Raisani and other political leaders also participated in the ceremony.
The event was attended among others by opposition leader Nawabzada Tariq Magsi, ex-ministers, former legislators and government officials.
The formation of the interim cabinet is also expected after the caretaker chief minister takes oath.
Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani and Opposition Leader Nawabzada Tariq Magsi agreed to the name of Barozai for the slot of interim chief minister.
