Prime Minister hopes people will feel change

Prime Minister, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Saturday expressed the hope that effective measures will be taken by the Ministry of Interior so that the people can feel the change for themselves.

The Prime Minister was talking to Interior Minister, Ch Nisar Ali Khan at the Prime Minister’s House a day after he was appointed the Interior Minister in the 25-member cabinet.

During the meeting they discussed the agenda and priorities of Ministry of Interior under the present government, the PM office said.

The Federal Minister said that the ministry would continue to cooperate with all provincial governments and provide them all possible assistance in the maintenance of law and order situation.

The Federal Minister said that officers of proven integrity and competence would be appointed in the Ministry of Interior and they would be expected to uphold merit and deliver.

The Federal Minister informed the Prime Minister that a detailed presentation would be made to him on the Ministry of Interior shortly to seek his guidance.
