Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has strongly condemned the rockets’ and hand grenades’ attack at the Quaid-e-Azam Residency in Ziarat.
He also expressed sorrow and grief over the loss of a policeman in the attack.
The Prime Minister said that all measures would be taken to ensure the safety and security of such national assets and heritage.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif also condemned the rocket attack at Quaid residency in Ziarat.
In a message he said that it is a matter of great concern as it is an attack on the foundation of Pakistan.
He said that involvement in such heinous crime do not deserve mercy.
MQM Chief Altaf Hussain has also condemned the attack on Quaid-e-Azam Residency.
He said the culprits have destroyed the historical national heritage. He appealed the government to take notice of the incident.
The miscreants fired rockets and hand grenades at the Quaid-e-Azam Residency building early Saturday.
One policeman was also martyred in the attack.
Six time bombs were also planted near Ziarat residency which were defused.
Chief Minister Balochistan Dr Abdul Maalik has directed the authorities to take strict action against the culprits.
Meanwhile‚ general strike was observed today in Ziarat against the incident. The protesters are demanding action against the culprits. Students staged rallies against the attack. Many people arrived at the scene on hearing the news.
