Kayani to chair farewell Formation Commanders Conference

It was reported from Islamabad that a Special Formation Commanders Conference has started since a week under the chairmanship of the army staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani as he is expected to retire after he has completed his extended term in the office.

The Formation Commanders Conference is currently being held at the General Headquarters (GHQ) and it is bidding farewell to a leader in the shape of General Kayani, who is expected to retire on November 28, 2013.

Officials who are attending this conference and are bidding farewell to General Kayani include corps commanders, principal staff officers, general officers commanding and other senior officials who are an important part of the team. After the conference is over, General Kayani is expected to give a speech where he will address the security, domestic and foreign challenges which the country currently faces.
