It was reported from Peshawar that a suicide bomber steered his explosive-laden vehicle into the security check-post of North Waziristan tribal region near the Afghan border. It was later reported that two of the soldiers on the check-post were killed while seven were left injured.

The initial reports stated that the blast took place in the Shawa region. The injured were shifted directly to a nearby hospital for treatment after ambulances arrived on the landmark.

Security personnel made sure that crowd doesn’t surround the area as the blast scene caught the eye of many. Mir Ali Tal road was closed for any civilians.

A large number of security personnel rushed to the area and surrounded the blast scene. They said that Mir Ali Tal road was closed for vehicular traffic.

The tribal area has seen several such incidents taking place in the past six months since the security forces are still battling Tehreek-e-Taliban, Pakistan.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Taliban is now being headed by Swat’s Mullah Fazlullah.
