It has been reported from Lahore that the Shiia Ulema Council (SUC) is planning to protest on this upcoming Sunday since there were a lot of security concerns on Friday and they had to shift from their actual schedule.

The SUC president of Punjab, Allama Mazhar Abbas Alvi, has directly accused the government for not taking part in any investigation regarding the incidents of Rawalpindi, where reportedly at least 40 people were found dead.

While addressing in a press conference in Lahore, Allama Mazhar Abbas Alvi stated that there are a number of questions which are present in the mind of the people regarding the Rawalpindi incident. He stated that he wants to know about the people who threw stones and set properties on fire and the situation was not taken under control.

He also claimed that all that SUC currently wants is peace and harmony within Pakistan and he can now see clearly how the enemies of the nation do not want peace in this country.
