It was reported from Karachi that a fire broke out on Wednesday night in a foam factory and after a hectic eight-hour effort by the fire department, it was still unable to come under control.

Reports claim that there were 25 men from the fire department who were unable to douse the fire as the foam factory located on the national highway caught fire late on Wednesday night.

The fire department gave out an official verdict regarding the fire that broke out on Wednesday night. They claimed that it was a third-degree inferno. The authorities have failed several times to instil a better system in order to overcome such problems within the city of Karachi. Reports claim that several hundred people have lost their lives in such incidents over the past ten years.

Last year a factory in the Baldia Town locality caught fire and 200 people were burnt alive in the incident. The Baldia Town factory incident is still considered to be the deadliest fire incident in the history of the city.
