IHC Reinstates NADRA Chairman

Recently it was reported that the NADRA chairman, Tariq Malik, will be suspended because he was less efficient and did not deserve the post.

A decision was taken by the court which stated that the current NADRA chairman, Tariq Malik, is going to get suspended while retired brigadier, Zahid Hussain, is going to take charge of the organization as can fully handle it.

After the decision was taken, the case went up to the Islamabad High Court. The notification was sent to them regarding the situation as Tariq Malik was the one brought under question.

The judges decided to take the matters in their own hands and heard both the parties thoroughly. After carefully analysing the situation, the Islamabad High Court took the final decision as they suspended the notification which stated that the current NADRA chairman, Tariq Malik, is going to be sacked. That is the reason why Tariq Malik has now been reinstated as the chairman of the organization and will be taking charge of his duties once again from tomorrow.

The notification that stated that retired brigadier, Zahid Hussain, is going to take charge of NADRA has also been cancelled and now the hearing has been adjourned till December 11^th.

The opposition parties criticized the sacking of Mr. Malik and Khursheed Shah compared the scenario to rigging.
