Liverpool Picks Up a 3-1 Win Against Cardiff

The Reds were to play against Cardiff at home. Even though Liverpool were expected to win the game, the home stadium was packed of fans who wanted to see the in-form Luis Suarez perform.

That is exactly what happened on the night. It was a Luis Suarez show once again. Wearing Steven Gerrard’s captain’s armband, Luis Suarez came out and gave out one of the best performances of the season.

He showed why exactly he has been scoring goals at will and it’s because he is currently the best player in the English Premier League. The Uruguayan national opened up the scoring after scoring from a volley, making the score 1-0 at home.

Later, the star player received a wonderful through pass from Henderson and he selflessly squared it off to Sterling who made no mistake to slot it into an empty net. Suarez had the opportunity to score his second but he decided to pass the ball on to Sterling.

Later, right before the end of the first half, Luis Suarez received a back heel pass from Henderson once again and the Uruguayan star striker made no mistake as he curled the ball into the far corner.

Cardiff then scored a single consolation goal as Liverpool managed to take all three points after a 3-1 win at home; thanks to the star Uruguayan striker.
