Four Dead in Karachi Firing including Two Policemen

Three people including two policemen were killed in Karachi after unidentified gunmen attacked different areas of the city while the dead body of a woman was also found in Baldia Town today according to Geo News.

 The attack on security personnel happened near Shafiq roundabout in New Karachi, when unknown gunmen opened fire on a police mobile, killing two police officers and injuring two nearby civilians. According to reports, the gunmen were on motorbikes and fled the scene after the attack.

 The two policemen who lost their lives have been identified as Head Constable Javed and Constable Asif. Their dead bodies were moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for proper processing.

In another attack, armed gunmen attacked a vehicle near Karsaz area, killing a man whose identity was not as yet ascertained. 

The dead body of a woman was also recovered from a house in Baldia Town and further investigations are underway.

Two policemen were killed last night as well, when unknown gunmen attacked a check-post in Sohrab Goth. According to reports, the gunmen forced their way in and fled after killing the police officers.

 Rangers also arrested two gunmen after they attacked a paramilitary force vehicle and sources report that two gunmen were also injured when the Rangers returned fire.
