It was reported from Miranshah that three rockets were fired at the camp of the security forces located in the area. All three rockets were fired from unknown directions during the night. Fortunately, no one was found injured or dead after the attack. The security personnel took notice of the situation and now the investigation is taking place regarding the matter.

It is to be stated here that the Pakistan and Taliban peace talks have been stalled due to several incidents which have recently taken place. At first Taliban killed the 23 FC troops who were kept in captivity since 2010. In return, Pakistan retaliated and launched an air strike on North Waziristan that killed 15 people.

For now the Pakistan-Taliban peace talks are stalled. Both the parties are not talking about peace as the talks were aimed at doing so.

Both the committees did sit down to talk about a ceasefire. However, Taliban made their intentions clear regarding their take on the matter after they slaughtered all 23 of the FC troops they had. Pakistani government then retaliated on the basis of Taliban’s stance on the matter.

There are still few people in both the committees who believe that ceasefire can still exist.
