Woman Forced to Drink Acid by In-Laws

It was recently reported from Faisalabad that a woman was forced to drink acid as her in-laws were against her.
It all started when a domestic row between the in-laws and a mother of two children came to the point where the family tried to force her to drink acid and actually succeeded. She was then rushed to the hospital in an extremely critical condition.
Sources later claimed that the woman’s name was Mumtaz Bibi and she is a mother of two children. She had a row with her in-laws and the situation got to a point where the family tried to pour acid down her throat. This caused a severe problem in her lungs, throat and even her stomach.
The neighbours heard her screams and informed the police. The woman was taken to Allied Hospital, which is located close to the residence. She is currently in an extremely critical condition and the doctors are still trying to save her life.
On the other hand, the police are currently trying to investigate the matter. They still don’t know the reason why the problem took place.
It is not the first time that a woman has become a subject to such a problem in the country.
