It has been reported from Karachi that the current Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif, is expected to chair a high level meeting which is going to assess the law and order situation of the port city. There have been several instances where many people lost their lives due to the unlawful acts which are being committed by different underground organizations that are operating in the port city.

The Prime Minister of Pakistan will be reaching Karachi today where he is going to be briefed about the overall situation by Director General of Sindh Rangers. The two are going to meet in the Governor’s House and will mostly discuss matters regarding the Lyari Operation which is on the cards.

Recently it has been reported that the Chief Minister of Sindh, Qaim Ali Shah, has recently ordered a full operation in Lyari and he wants all the forces to be party to it.

Sources claim that there was a meeting held where the Chief Minister of Sindh spoke about how important it is for them to have an operation in Lyari. He claimed that if there is further delay in this operation, then it could affect the overall security situation in the city.
