India Destroys Pakistan in First T20 Game

Pakistan faced India as the T20 World Cup kicked off in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Pakistani team lost the toss and were asked to bat first. Even though the Indian balling attack is often criticized, they were still able to restrict Pakistan down to 130-7 in twenty overs.

When the Indian team came to bat, everyone knew how this target is not enough for them. The Pakistani team tried its best to take the run rate down but it was impossible for them. The Indian batting line up was simply too good for them and they outclassed them on several occasions.

India’s worst point throughout the game came when they were 65-3, but then Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina took the stage. The two were simply phenomenal throughout the time they were on the pitch. Both of them steered India to a win as they formed a 66-run partnership.

After this loss against India, Pakistan are still unable to beat their arch rivals in a single game which has taken place in the World Cup; whether it is the T20 World Cup or a one-day World Cup.

Pakistan is now going to face Australia in the next T20 game while India are going to face Chris Gayle’s West Indies.
