Pervaiz Rashid

It was recently reported from Islamabad that the Minister of Information, Pervaiz Rashid, came out in the open and spoke to the media about how Pakistan is in no position to discuss the personal affairs of other countries. There have been several instances where Pakistan has been asked to take a stand regarding other countries’ matters but Pervaiz Rashid has claimed that they are not willing to take that step.

He stated that Pakistan is a responsible country and that is why we want to behave responsibly as well.

This particular press conference has come in the wake up Saudi Arabia and Syria’s personal feud with each other. Pakistan was asked by Saudi Arabia to help them out throughout the time both the parties were going through a cold time. At first Pakistan agreed to supply weapons to Saudi Arabia but now they are trying to pull out of the situation altogether.

While addressing the media, Pervaiz Rashid explained that this is the time for Pakistan to make their economy stable and the 32 billion dollars which will be given by China are going to help Pakistan in achieving this particular objective.

He then stated that the Prime Minister wants Pakistan to stay away from wars that is exactly what he is trying to do.
