MQM to Stage Protest Today

It was recently reported from Karachi that the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) will be staging a protest demonstration outside the Karachi Press Club (KPC) on Thursday. It is being reported that this protest is against the ‘extra judicial killings and forced disappearances’ of its workers.

Currently there are several people who are expected to become a part of this protest. The Muttahida Qaumi Movement will not be alone when they sit outside the Karachi Press Club in order to protest against this cause. Sources claim that deputy convener, members of the Rabita Committee and families of the victims who are being killed will all become a part of this protest on Thursday.

The Karachi-based party has appealed to several people so that they can become a part of this protest. They have also claimed that the protest might last till Friday.

Recently a statement was issued by the party where they claimed that the Sindh government is not taking any action to prevent such brutality; in fact, MQM believes that the Sindh government is only trying to hush this protest aside.

The statement released by the party also alleged that five bodies of MQM workers have been found and many others are still missing.
