Pervez Musharraf Meets Pir Pagara in Karachi

The Ex President of Pakistan , Retired General Pervez Musharraf and Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) leader Pir Pagara Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi met on Friday evening in Karachi. Pir Pagara visited Musharraf’s residence in Karachi and asked about well being and health of the ex Pakistani president.

Pir Pagara, according to media reports, during the meeting said that  some Pakistani elements are involved in running a scandalous campaign against defense institutions.

Pir Pagara further said, “We and you (Musharraf) will jointly boost the morale of security agencies.”

Musharraf, responded by saying, ” We will make Pakistan a secure country with each others experience”.

Pir Pagara issued a statement after the meeting in which he said on the death of his sister, Gen Musharraf had arrived at his residence in London for condolence and now he felt it his duty to go and inquire after his health.

Pir Pagara also said that it is was the responsibility of the Sindh government to expose the attackers who tried to assassinate journalist and anchor person Hamid Mir.

Pir Pagara  furthere said in the statement that the armed forces would always find the Hur Jamaat defending the geographical and ideological borders of Pakistan along with them.
