It was recently reported from Karachi that the 30th Asian Snooker Championship has come to an end for Pakistan as Mohammad Asif Toba suffered a 1-5 loss against the Malaysian star, Chuan Leong Thor. Mohammad Asif Toba could only make it to the quarter-final stage of the competition.

The other two compatriots who accompanied Mohammad Asif Toba in this competition included the likes of Hamza Akbar and Asjad Iqbal. Hamza Akbar had to bow out of the competition in the round of 32. Asjad Iqbal lost his game in the round of 16. Therefore, now all three of the Pakistani players have bowed out of the competition.

Asif played the quarter-final against Thor and was unable to match his brilliance. The first frame was won by Thor and Asif managed to equalize in the next frame. However, from there on it was all downhill. Asif eventually lost the game 5-1.

Chuan Thor completed the 5-1 rout by winning the games 61-24, 21-71, 78-2, 66-2, 89-0 and 69-12.

The Pakistani team is expected to return back on Sunday.

The final result of the game between the two was: 5-1 (61-24, 21-71, 78-2, 66-2, 89-0, 69-12).
